ROLLER KILNS

They are modular kiln each module is 2 meters. They can be long up to 120meters, withd up to 3.000 mms. They can firing Tiles (single firing, Porcellanato, Monoporosa, Biscuit) Sanitaryware, Sanitaryware, tableware (Atmosphere reducing,oxidizing, neutral), Insulators, Vases, Bricks. The lower part consumptions are also due to an excellent insulation of the structures of the kiln and to an optimal regulation of the burners(ratio air-gas).
The kiln is composed by 5 zones :

  1. Preheating zone

  2. Firing zone

  3. Rapid cooling

  4. Slow cooling

  5. Final cooling.

In the zone of pre-heating there are different points of outlet, inlet air and burners set in bottom. In this way it is possible to get the profile of temperature desired and the relative thermal gradient (°C/min) to avoid break-ups. In the firing zone they are set, top and in bottom, a suitable number of burners to high speed that guarantees an uniformity of distribution of the temperature in the section of the kiln.
In the zone of rapid cooling we inlet fresh air in more points and we suck from the laboratory of the kiln hot air it also allows abrupt falls of temperature as the case of shiny enamels to avoid become mat. The slow cooling allows to have a profile of sweet temperature among 600°C-550°C during the transformation of the Silica, to avoid break-ups. In end the final cooling brings the piece to a temperature to be able to quietly be handled by the employees.
