INTERMITTENT KILNS

The Intermittent Kiln, like Tunnel and Roller kilns, are modular ovens.
The insulation can be in ceramic fiber or light refractory bricks.
Technokilns produces kilns until a1700°C of working temperature.
The volume can be from 4m³ up to 100m³
Technokilns kilns are used for firing :

• Sanitaryware with load plain from 1 to 3 levels
• Bricks
• Insulators
• Refractory Silica Alumina
• Nitrured Silicon Carbide refractory in
  controlled Atmosphere (Nitrogen)
• Ceramic supports for catalysts.
  
             

SPECIAL INTERMITTENT KILNS for
CERAMIC ROLLER FIRING

The special intermittent kiln is used for firing Ceramic Rollers (ceramic pipes).
The cart brings position it is set in the top part of the kilns. The kiln's roof is not fixed but it vertically stirs for allowing the introduction or the extraction of the cart.
The insulation of the kiln is in ceramic fiber for high temperature (1750°C), that allows to reduce the cicle (38-42 hrs) in comparison to the masonry kiln (50-52 times) with saving energetic and greater productive ability.
